2019「課程發展與教學實踐」教育會議分享

香港教師中心2019教育會議主題《專業領航 創未來》,本會為兩項中學主題作主講

講題一: 探索世界,感知生活-創意戶外教學之實務分享

內容簡介: 在校園角落、小島海邊、時代廣場、屋邨公園等地開課,在戶外環境運用主題式活動教學,結合繪本、戲劇、尋寶、遊戲、美學、寫作等元素,讓孩子探索校園、展望世界,在互動中邊走邊玩邊笑邊學,繼而將情思感受創作成多元作品。活動兼及理論、實踐與成效評量,分享組織、推展、優化創意戶外教學的經驗,展示多個繽紛而具效能的學習實例。

Topic 2 Towards an assessment as learning approach – experience sharing on cultivating independent learners using e-learning tools in junior and senior forms

Content

The curriculum leaders in the English Language KLA introduced how students be scaffolded and engaged in the assessment process. They also introduced how the assessment results could help students in setting their individual goals, aligned to the Ongoing Renewal of the English Language Curriculum advocated by EDB.

The above concepts were elaborated through showcasing the projects carried out in 2 key learning stages. In KS3, the school adopted the multisensory learning and learning approach. Audio-visual texts, graphic organizers and site visits were used to prepare students for the assessment, in which they demonstrated their learning outcomes by producing multimodal texts. Various e-learning tools including Edpuzzle, Padlet and Adobe Spark Video were used to scaffold and engage students in the assessment process.

Another move to develop students’ independent learning capacity was carried out in KS4. The speakers shared how students were engaged in the assessment process through peer-assessment on the e-learning platform Edmodo, and ultimately guided to set their own individual learning goal based on the teacher’s onscreen marking using the Notability app.
